Why during Covid, I had one of the best times of my life

The start of Covid in Denmark. Reading in nature. 2020.

Just when I wrote the headline I could vision people reacting differently. One would probably say, how can you say that? People were ill and dying and losing jobs. Families could not see each other, there were fear and chaos everywhere. And maybe someone would say — me too, I had it good.

I was the lucky one. I kept my job and started a new one, I was healthy and kept on taking care of it. Nobody from my family was experiencing any health issues. So yes, easy for me to write that it was a good time.

But honestly, for me, it was a good time. The worst that happened: was one day trip to Thailand. We had just landed there from Denmark and we were called home the next morning. And to put a cherry on the cake, I left all our cash on the plane :) But my boyfriend said that probably flight attendants needed them more than us during Covid. That´s why we never got our money back. But on the other hand, we are still together, even though I was the one losing it all :)

So why did I have a good time during Covid? Because you know how people say you cannot make more time? During Covid, it suddenly was not true. Time expanded.

I focused on the things I can do, not the things I cannot. I found new ways to have fun.

I became more creative.

I started small and big projects.

I read many books.

I planted vegetables.

I started my own company.

I worked from home for two years and loved it.

I traveled very cheaply to expensive destinations.

I worked on my inner self and expanded my personality.

As Tony Robbins says: what you focus on expands.

I focused on the good things about the pandemic and the good things happened to me.

When did you have the best time of your life?
