What also really helps to reach the goals is habits. You build new habits that lead you to that goal and focus on habits, you will achieve it. Goal is not the purpose, building new habits that stick is. Like if you want to lose weight, you goals is not to lose 4 kg, but your goal is to build habits that will allow you to stay fit and healthy. So focus on changing habits.
