I really liked and agree with the idea that we select partner who is similar to us but not too much, who is different to us but not too much... I think that was Jordan Peterson that had this idea. Because if we are too similar then it is boreing, and if we are too different we disagree on too many things... I also think, that when selectign a partner we must talk about our values, what is improtant to us. Often partners skip it at the start and create complicatiosn later... liek for me my top value is freedom, so I value my time alone, my freedom to choose how to live, and if parter has different value - like for example family, stay at home, etc, then it is a bad combination.. so remmeber values matter.
